Job Description:
As a Medical Technologist II, you will play an integral role in the future of healthcare, performing both routine and specialized laboratory procedures while contributing to the advancement of medical diagnostics. This role is vital for maintaining the highest standards of care across our facilities. Our cutting-edge laboratories support a wide range of diagnostic services essential to patient care and the future of healthcare.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting laboratory procedures and interpreting clinical test results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Ensuring compliance with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) standards, monitoring test performance, and conducting major/minor instrument troubleshooting.
Training and orienting new personnel as healthcare continues to innovate.
Participating in quality control and assurance measures, ensuring test systems are functional before results are reported.
Adapting to emerging technologies and methodologies in clinical testing to stay ahead in the healthcare field.
Working with infectious and hazardous materials in a controlled environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Technology, biological science, or related field, with completed clinical laboratory rotations.
OR Bachelor’s degree with specific coursework in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and relevant clinical lab experience.
Certifications: ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent, required. Certification eligible candidates must obtain certification within 12 months.
Experience:
Over 5 years of verifiable clinical lab experience, including Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology, is essential for this evolving role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of laboratory methodologies and quality assurance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting laboratory instruments.
Leadership qualities to mentor and train the next generation of medical technologists.

Salary:
